Our March Afternoon Tea will be truly decadent for those attending and perhaps a little humiliating and objectifying for a few of the s-types. We are going full International with traditional Irish inspired foods for St Patrick’s Day and two of those courses will be served via the Japanese practice of Nyotaimori 女体盛り, meaning to serve foods on the female body, and Nantaimori 男体盛りwhich refers to the same practice using a male body.
The Japanese practice of nyotaimori – or serving food on a naked body – is said to have its origins in the samurai period in Japan. It was a subculture to the geishas. It would take place in a geisha house as a celebration after a victorious battle.
In traditional nyotaimori, the model is generally expected to lie still at all times and not talk with guests. The food is placed on sanitized leaves on the model's body to prevent skin-to-food contact and on sufficiently flat areas of the body off which the food will not roll. Nyotaimori is considered an art form.
Guests must be respectful and observe the following decorum:
- Talking with the human plates is highly discouraged.
- Attendees will be briefed before interacting with the human plates as to whether or not they are permitted to pick up food from each plate with utensils or nibble a piece or two off of the human plate.
Same as last month - the service team will not be charged for attending! The existing service team will determine how many servers are needed, not everyone will be chosen to be on the team each time. A special registration code will be given to those serving for each tea. Those with previous experience and those with a D-type at the table will be given priority. Please contact SpankyRae on Fetlife to let her know you are interested in joining the serving team.
Also as with last month’s new feature – please indicate if you have dietary restrictions and our service staff will contact you for specifics.
We ask that servers arrive at 11:30am. Please contact SpankyRae on Fetlife to let her know you will joining the serving team.
Attendees are asked to arrive promptly at 12:30pm.

Our Afternoon Teas at The Space, while not quite the same as the ones in the Palm Room at the Ritz in London, are far better. They are about more than tea, pretty china, sandwiches, and cake. They are about sharing in the enjoyment of power exchange and being with others who respect the dynamics of serving and being served.
Afternoon Teas happen monthly on the 2nd Sunday
Servers arrive at 11:30am / Tea begins at 12:30pm / Ends at 2pm
